Right before I lost power, it looked brighter outside - so here's eerie full moon night!
Still churning...ESE breeze about 25knots.
The Outrigger quonset hut located at the eastern end of Seaview Ave. is no more, and there are boats and debris everywhere - no Love, and No Mahalo.
This place is only one block from the beach - the guy who owns them is a really nice guy - I am thinking he must be away, coz he wouldn't treat his boats like this. So sad.
Driving along Seaview Ave, this is one of the worst cases of total devastation.
There is nothing remaining at the back of the house - it is completely open to Long Island Sound.
Everyone along this street was under mandatory evacuation - the City of Milford can "robo call" to tell people to get out. Lots of flooding, the street is a sandy/muddy mess.
This is the second house from the beach. Adds new meaning to "room with a view."
I think the bricks along the seawall got scared...and they evacuated!
A view to Charles Island - 2 hours before high tide on Tuesday.
Standing tall - Jessie's house looks good! Amazing!!
All I could see was a few shingles flapping in the breeze.
Looking west along the seawall.
Run, bricks run!!
The side yard.
