Tender to the Farr 400 Chessie Racing. After a 7-year absence, George Collins and crew raced in the new HPR class as well as the Farr 400 subclass.
Ken Legler noted, "(America) she's coming downwind with a bone in her teeth!" She was moving right along in the good Northeasterly breeze, and made for a very pretty sight on the Division 1 course.
The V.I.P. Schooner replica-America was full every day with sponsor guests, and Key West visitors to catch the daily action on all 3 circles.
